Saudi FM Saud Al-Faisal arrives in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Foreign Minister Saud Al-Faisal has arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit for talks with Pakistani leadership on bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Besides bilateral matters‚ the two sides will also discuss regional situation‚ particularly the situation in Afghanistan after withdrawal of foreign forces.
Both sides are also expected to review the suspended Taliban-US dialogue process for reconciliation‚ in Afghanistan.

According to the Foreign office spokesperson‚ Pakistan is working on a policy to further strengthen its relations with Islamic countries and the visit of Saudi Foreign Minister is part of this policy.

Meanwhile‚ Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanvir Hussain said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy excellent relations and the visit of Saudi Foreign Minister to Islamabad will further cement and deepen these relations.
