Bangladeshi Police detains 3 BNP leader

DHAKA:Bangladeshi Police detained BNP Vice-Chairman Selima Rahman, Nazimuddin Alam and Fazlul Haque Milon from their residence on Tuesday , UNB reported.

selima rahmanAccording to detail, A team of Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police picked up the BNP leader from her house.She was arrested within an hour after she held a press conference at her residence from where she announced that the opposition’s ongoing 48-hour hartal be extended by 12 hours until 6pm Wednesday.

Other two leaders,, Nazimuddin Alam and Fazlul Haque Milon were picked up from Baridhara area in the capital.
Meanwhile, detective branch of police on Tuesday arrested Bangladesh Bar Council vice chairman and also BNP chairperson’s adviser Khandaker Mahbub Hossain from Jatiya press club premises.
