Ayatollah Khamenei praises Lord Nazir's services for Islamic Umma

TEHRAN(Awaaz Report):A British lawmaker of Kashmiri origin, Lord Nazir Ahmed met Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Iran , discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The Supreme Leader praised Lord Nazir's services for Islamic Umma and Internationaly ."Lord Nazir always raises his voice for poor nations on principles",he added.

Ayatollah Khamenei  said "we have to turn the difference between us into a source of richness that is organized by dialogue, a position of pride that is based on unity on our common issues".
The leaders agreed on the importance of steps to strengthen the Muslim Uma's unity.
"I had a very frank and fruitful meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei" ,said Lord Nazir.
During his Iran's visit,Lord Nazir met with a range of world leaders and other high-level officials for discussions on a gamut of topics of global concern.
In an meetimg, with Iraq former premier Ibrahim al-Jaafari ,Lord Nazir also exchanged views on the situation in Iraq and Middle East region, and on ways for the international community to support the region in addressing these crises.

Meanwhile, Lord Nazir met with  Syrian Minister of Auqaf,Dr Nabil Ibrahim and delegation from Lebanon.During his meeting with Syrian Minister,both men exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East.
The situation in Syria was among the topics discussed in the meeting between the Lord Nazir and Syrian Minister.The  Syrian Minister, ,Dr Nabil Ibrahim,thanked Lord Nazir for its contribution to peace in world and welcomed its readiness to participate in peacekeeping efforts.


The 27th International Islamic Unity Conference kicked off here on Friday in the presence of President Hassan Rouhani and Iranian officials, scholars and international characters from different Islamic countries as well as representatives from prominent Islamic leaders.
370 foreign scholars from 50 different countreis including  Malaysia, Russia, Greece, Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Algeria,  Great Britain, USA, Australia, Uganda, Tunisia, the Nethrelands, Qatar, Yemen, and Egypt have participated in the 3-day conference.
