'Dhoom: 3' title track gets Arabic makeover

'Dhoom machale dhoom', the title track of upcoming action-thriller 'Dhoom: 3' is getting a makeover with singing sensation Naya crooning the track in Arabic.
The song is back with the third installment of the action franchise that will see Aamir Khan in a negative role.
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and Produced by Aditya Chopra, 'Dhoom: 3' will see the actor, who underwent a rigorous physical training for more than a year, as Sahir the 'Clown Thief' and Katrina Kaif as Aaliya the 'Acrobat diva'. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra are reprising their roles as Jai and Ali.
Thai-American singer Tata Young sang the title track for the first film in the series in 2004, which was a major hit at that time.

Why Aamir Khan made Aditya Chopra delay 'Dhoom: 3'

When it comes to 'Dhoom: 3', the surprises just keep on rolling one after another. The makers have released the promo of the new song for the film, featuring lead actor Aamir Khan who plays the role of the thief, Sahir.
Though there's no doubt about Aamir Khan's acting skill, its common knowledge, the actor isn't much of a dancer especially in comparison to Hrithik Roshan, who starred in 'Dhoom 2'.
However, the video features Aamir Khan doing a tap dance solo and boy is he good! Set in some kind of a warehouse, the actor kicks up a dust storm as he moves and shakes to the music.
Known for being extremely particular on getting absolutely right, Mr. Perfectionist as he's so rightly called flew all the way to Australia to learn tap dance from a professional instructor.
Aamir Khan, who was speaking at a conclave hosted by a news channel, said he asked producer Aditya Chopra to delay the film for a year as he wanted to prepare extensively.
"The physical training was really difficult. I had to have a lean but flexible body for my character of gymnast. I had only nine per cent of body fat while doing the film but got relaxed after I finished shooting."
"I remember when Adi asked me about beginning the shoot, I said, 'I will need a year'. He was surprised but now when he watches the film, he realises why I needed that time."
Aamir Khan, who spent two years learning tap-dancing, body building and gymnastics for 'Dhoom 3', said he agreed to do the film because he fell in love with the story which has more emotions this time.
Aamir Khan tweeted the video of one of his tap dance sessions. The actor sure took a lot of pains in perfecting the dance.
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, 'Dhoom: 3' also stars Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.

Why Aamir Khan will not promote 'Dhoom 3'

Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is known to think differently when it comes to promoting his films and it is no different this time with 'Dhoom 3' as well.
Unlike the recent promotion strategies of stars, Aamir Khan along with his 'Dhoom 3' team has decided not to take 'Dhoom 3' to Television shows for promotions.
Aamir Khan will not be doing rounds of television shows or visit public places like malls in different cities to promote 'Dhoom 3'. The actor actually wants to rely on trailers and song teasers to do the trick.
Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh confirmed Aamir Khan's plans by tweeting, "Also, Aamir informs me, he won't be doing rounds of TV shows or visiting malls of cities to promote #Dhoom3. Wants trailers to do the trick."
Aamir Khan and YRF have also decided not to release the entire song on the television for promotions and stick to releasing just a 30 second teaser.
'Dhoom 3' has already created a buzz with superbly performed stunts and recently released teaser of the most expensive song in Bollywood, 'Malang' featuring Katrina Kaif and Aamir Khan.

Aamir Khan learns tap dance from Dein Perry for 'Dhoom 3'

Actor Aamir Khan got his lessons in tap dancing from Australian choreographer and renowned dancer Dein Perry for 'Dhoom 3'.
Aamir flew to Australia to learn the dance from Dein who had choreographed the Sydney Olympics opening act and 'Happy Feet 2'.
The actor spent a while in Australia and learnt the dance form with the choreographer's students, mostly in the age group of 10 - 24 years. Aamir had to learn the 'grungy tap' dance which is high on energy and more difficult than the classic tap dance.
"Aamir had visited Dein Perry's academy in Australia to learn the grungy tap dance. After the training was done, the dance team came to India to shoot the song," a 'Dhoom 3' spokesperson said.
In the third installment of 'Dhoom' series, Aamir will be seen as a baddie opposite Katrina Kaif, while Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue to reprise their roles.
Releasing on December 20, 'Dhoom 3' is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra.
